Lawn Maintenance

Turf Zone provides full service lawn care for residential and commercial properties. We believe that maintenance is much more than just mowing. We give attention to all aspects of a property to give it a great all around appearance.

Irrigation

Throughout our 12 years of business we have 4 years of irrigation experience. We have taken the opportunity to develop our knowledge of sprinkler systems and water to encourage water conservation and proper care of turf and plants. We are up-to-date on the latest technologies and practices relating to irrigation and we continue to grow our knowledge of irrigation systems.

Landscape Installation and Rennovation

Another aspect of Turf Zone Inc. is our Landscaping division which has been in operation for 6 years. Our professional landscape designer helps guide our customers through the landscape process from conception to planning to completion. We strive to build a landscape that fits the customer, increases eye appeal, and is adequate for our environment.

Aeration Service

Our aeration service is important to the health of any turf area as it pulls 9-12 plugs per square foot, exceeding the standard recommended by Colorado State University Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. These plugs are longer than most pulled by others in the industry. This is accomplished by using unique hydraulically driven tines instead of those on a round drum.

Fetilization

Turf Zone utilizes a fertilizer program featuring a slow release fertilizer. This fertilizer, meister, is released by temperature of the soil not by moisture like other fertilizers. This allows it to work throughout the season and be applied only once.

Weed control

Turf Zone has pesticide applicators that have been certified by the State of Colorado, and we can take care of all of your weed control needs. We have weed control programs designed for mulch and rock beds, as well as, lawn and turf areas.

Deep-root Watering

Turf Zone provides a deep root watering service for trees and shrubs. This service is designed to stimulate growth and help get water to roots that will promote healthy growth during dry winters or periods of prolonged drought. Sprinkler water only goes six to eight inches deep, thus not getting to the roots of most trees. Deep root watering penetrates ten to fourteen inches into the soil provifing much needed water directly to the roots of trees and shrubs.

Snow Removal

Turf Zone is proud to offer snow removal services for commercial properties including parking lots and sidewalks.

Ice Management Division

Ice is a liability to any property, and requires careful management. Turf Zone is equipped to manage ice accumulation with a fast acting, environmentally safe Magnesium Chloride.
